Biographical / Historical

Easton Preparative Meeting was established as Saratoga Preparative in 1776, as a part of Nine Partners Monthly. On the establishment of Saratoga (later Easton) Monthly Meeting, Easton Preparative was set off to this meeting. The name of the preparative meeting was changed to Easton in 12mo 1795. In 1838 a preparative meeting was established by Easton Monthly Meeting at North Easton; this meeting was reunited with Easton in 1868. Easton Preparative Meeting was discontinued after 1896.
