Leeds and Maule family genealogy

Scope and Contents

This collection is composed of one original book and a set of photocopied indices. The book is handwritten, and along with the genealogy includes many glued in photos, newspaper obituaries, and several genealogies or family trees of Leeds families. The set of indices is presented as an index for the family genealogy, and was compiled in 1947 by Morris Leeds.

Scull Family papers

Abstract

The collection consists of correspondence of Edward Scull, who made a religious visit with Rufus King to North Carolina and England and traveled around the United States with J. Bevan Braithwaite. He called on John Greenleaf Whittier in 1878; two letters from Whittier are included in the collection, as well as two from Edward's brother, David, Haverford, 1854, and manager from 1865-1907. There are also several miscellaneous items.

Abstract Papers of the Cope family whose members descended from or were forebears of Francis R. Cope Jr. (1878-1962). The bulk of the papers was created by Francis R. Cope Jr., his daughter, Theodora Morris Cope and her first husband, John Frederick Stanwell-Fletcher. Other principal writers in the collection are Alexis T. Cope, Agnes Cope, Anna S.
