Benjamin Coates African Colonization collection
Letters relating to the emigration of free Blacks to the West African colony of Liberia and establishment of Liberian institutions written to American Quaker reformer, Benjamin Coates (1808-1887) whose work toward the abolition of slavery led to a relationship with many well-known people connected to Liberia, a colony established to offer a new home and a fresh start away from slavery to free Blacks in the mid-19th century.
William Wistar Comfort papers
Papers of William Wistar Comfort (1876-1955), president of Haverford College in a particularly sensitive time between two world wars and scholar of French literature. Comfort was a prolific writer and speaker on Quaker topics, but also on such diverse subjects as William Cowper, children's stories, education and music.
Cope-Evans Family papers
Letters (with accompanying poetry, acrostics, drawings, clippings, etc.), marriage certificates, photographs, friendship book, estate related papers, account books, and computer disks. Primarily letters of the closely related Quaker families of Cope and Evans of Germantown (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania); other families include Brown, Drinker, and Haines.
John Davison papers
John Davison was a prolific composer who taught music at Haverford College from 1959 until his death in 1999. Several of his compositions were performed and recorded by orchestras throughout the United States. Within this collection are drafts of almost all his 144 scores, as well as audio recordings of a couple dozen of his pieces. Thus any researcher interested in his work should start here. Also of note to alumni are the scores Davison saved from his students.

Emlen Institution for the Benefit of Children of African and Indian Descent records
This collection includes various documents relating to the The Emlen Institution for the Benefit of Children of African and Indian descent, including business correspondence (chiefly on financial matters), treasurer's accounts and reports, receipts, bills, inventories, trustees minutes. Also a printed copy of will of Samuel Emlen and deed to land in Warminster, Bucks Co., 1765 (recorded 17[8]7).
Evesham Social Reading Circle records
The Evesham Social Reading Circle was founded in 1864 in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The Circle was supported by paid memberships. It is unknown when it ended.
Friends Association for Higher Education collection
This is a collection of the professional documents of the Friends Association for Higher Education, including: correspondence, newsletters, memos, flyers, and reports on FAHE programs and activities; membership applications and dues for new or returning members; attendence sheets, invitations, and photos from meetings and annual conferences; slides, cassettes, and floppy discs from events; and publications written by members of the organization.
