Gwynedd Boarding School (Gwynedd, Pa.)
Gwynedd Boarding School was a Quaker boarding school for boys operated by the Foulke family in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. The collection contains an account book (1847-1848), list of students (1853-1860), and material relating to an alumni association (1901).
Collected papers of Alice P. Hadley and the Thread and Needle Society
Alice C. Paxson Hadley (1857-1919) was the daughter of Frederick and Lydia Betts Paxson, Philadelphia Hicksite Quakers. She was a founding member of the Thread and Needle Society, a social and charitable club of young Friends. Alice kept a diary that recorded events and meetings of the group 1873 to 1880 which were transcribed by her granddaughter, and she collected memorabilia and speeches she presented.

The commonplace book of Catherine Haines includes extracts on the art of writing, poetry (including three poems by Phillis Wheatley), extracts of speeches, extracts on child rearing and education, Indigenous peoples, a memorandum for Susanna James, extracts from William Hunt's illness, and a memorandum of Hannah Shoemaker.

This collection contains the papers of Elizabeth French Haines, relating to Kimberton Boarding School. Included are her piecebook and copybook, letters she wrote to her father and brother while at school, a Kimberton catalogue, and letters written by Emmor Kimber to the Haines family. Also included are letters from Elizabeth to her aunt describing her work as a school teacher, letters from Kimberton friends, a family deed, and a daguerretype of Elizabeth Haines later in her life.
