Edwin B. Bronner papers

Overview

Papers from the Fourth World Conference of Friends (Quakers) which was held at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 1967. Edwin Bronner was chair of the Executive Committee of the American Section, but there was worldwide representation by Friends and guests. A well known speaker at the conference was U.N. Secretary General U Thant.

The Business Problem Group of Philadelphia was part of the Social Order Committee of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, Orthodox whose purpose was to "deal with prblems of the relation between employers and employees. This collection contains three bound volumes of minutes from meetings of the Business Problems Group of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. The group met and had presentations and programs.

Larry Scott Butler Papers

Byberry Hall Association was organized in 1854 when the citizens of Byberry township and vicinity decided to form a company for the purpose of erecting a building where residents could meet to hear lectures, hold elections, etc. This collection contains the records of the Byberry Hall Association, 1847-1981. It includes the secretary's book containing minutes (1854-1905); account books, deeds and miscellaneous papers.
