Levinus King Painter Papers
Some memorandum of the proceedings of the Select Preparative and Monthly Meeting of Jericho, in the case of Anne Willis, Thomas Willis, and Phebe Willis,
This volume contains two copies in the same hand of the account of the charge against Anne, Thomas, and Phebe Willis before Jericho Preparative and Monthly Meetings and their defense of their views; the first version includes a copy of the essay written and signed in their defense, and the second version omits the essay but includes more detail about Elias Hicks' remarks.
Purdy Family Papers
Collection of sufferings of Flushing Friends during the American Revolution
Contains a document listing the Sufferings of Friends belonging to Flushing Monthly Meeting given to the Committee appointed to inspect the Sufferings of Friends, 1782. Also, accounts submitted by individuals and related epistles, 1775 and 1778, from London and Philadelphia Yearly Meetings.
Sky Island Papers
Sky Island was a refugee vacation hostel run by the American Friends Service Committee in copperation with the American Christian Committee for Refugees from about 1938 until at least 1947. Flora E. Pottenger was a teacher from Warsaw, Indiana, who worked at Sky Island during the summer of 1946. Her Sky Island papers, all photocopies, include correspondence, reports, and photographs.
Joseph Tallcot correspondence
Contains five letters from Quaker educator Joseph Talcot, including one to New York Yearly Meeting for Sufferings and four to Samuel Parsons (1744-1841), long-time elder and clerk of New York Yearly Meeting. The letters deal with concerns of the Meeting for Suffering and providing literature to Friends in remote quarterly meetings.
The New York Association of Friends for the Relief of Those Held in Slavery and the Improvement of the Free People of Color
The New York Association of Friends for the Relief of Those Held in Slavery and the Improvement of Free People of Color was a Quaker society in New York City, organized in 1839. Its purpose was to support the abolition of slavery and educational charities for Black people. This small collection contains a minute book (6/1839-5/1843) and loose minutes (1844).

Alson D. Van Wagner New York Yearly Meeting Papers
Contains research, drafts and correspondence collected by Alson D. Van Wagner concerning two New York Yearly Meeting publications, Quaker Crosscurrents: Three Hundred Years of Friends in the New York Yearly Meeting, published in 1995, and New York Yearly Meeting Directory 1993. Of particular interest is the research done on identifying New York Yearly Meeting women ministers.
