"John Greenleaf Whittier: Some General Characteristics of his Poetry"
Wilhelm Aarek's thesis, entitled "John Greenleaf Whittier: Some General Characteristics of his Poetry," provides a brief history of early American literature and the influence of religion, chiefly providing a literary analysis of John Greenleaf Whittier's poetry, including various influences on his poetry, as well as its themes and subjects.
American Friends' letters
The collection is composed chiefly of letters of members of the Society of Friends in the United States from the 17th to the 20th centuries; there are also documents, clippings, published articles, and miscellaneous manuscripts.

John Greenleaf Whittier Manuscript Collection
John Greenleaf Whittier was a New England Quaker poet, journalist, and abolitionist. His poetry, inspired by his religious and moral beliefs, was well regarded during his lifetime, and he was respected by both Orthodox and Hicksite Quakers. The collection contains Whittier correspondence, manuscript poetry, books, photographs and miscellaneous material.

Elizabeth Nicholson manuscripts
These unpublished poems of John G. Whittier were compiled by Elizabeth Nicholson and Sarah Lloyd. The volumes include copies of many of John Greenleaf Whittier's early poems, as well as poetry by other poets, and sketches and illustrations.
Rosalie Regen scripts
This collection is comprised of the scripts, generally for one-act plays, written by Rosalie Regen. Each play focuses on Quaker history, and particularly important Quaker individuals, including Elizabeth Fry, John Woolman, William Penn, Rufus Jones, George Fox, Mary Fisher, and John Greenleaf Whittier.

Fred Rodell papers
The papers of Fred Rodell (1907-1980), a 1926 graduate of Haverford College and long-time professor of law at Yale University. The papers consist of correspondence, published and unpublished writing, scrapbooks of Rodell's written work, and albums of personal photographs.
Nathaniel Peabody Rogers collection
A collection relating to the work of anti-slavery advocate and worker, Nathaniel Peabody Rogers, and the circle of others involved, including John Greenleaf Whittier, William Lloyd Garrison and Susan B. Anthony. There are a number of issues of the Herald of Freedom of which Rogers was the editor.
