Known originally as Patapsco Forest Meeting, the name was shortened to Forest. In 1815, this meeting was joined with Little Falls Preparative Meeting to form Little Falls Monthly Meeting. Forest Preparative Meeting was formed in 1851, as authorized by Baltimore Quarterly Meeting (Hicksite).
