Biographical / Historical

Quakers in Howard County, Maryland began meeting for worship in 1996, organizing as a Preparative Meeting under the care of Sandy Spring Monthly Meeting in 1999. Patapsco Friends Meeting was granted monthly meeting status at Baltimore Yearly Meeting’s 2002 Annual Sessions.

A much earlier Quaker meeting in Maryland, also named Patapsco, is not related to the current meeting.
