Biographical / Historical
South Mountain Friends Fellowship began in 2005, a ministry by Patapsco Meeting to Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown (MCI-H). As a prison worship group, the activities of South Mountain Friends Fellowship were frequently curtailed by bureaucracy and transfers imposed by prison administration. South Mountain Friends Fellowship was formally laid down in 2017, after the downsizing of MCI-H relocated all of the remaining incarcerated members to other prisons. Some returning citizens have joined the Patapsco Meeting community.
