This collection consists of historical examinations and related materials pertaining to admission to Haverford College as well as examinations administered during the academic year. The majority of the collection's contents are related to Haverford's entrance exams that were given to high school students to help determine admission into the college.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Several of the examination regulations and schedules dating from 1839 to 1898 were donated by John Butler in 1942, Alfred C. Garrett in 1949, and a Mrs. Nordoff in 1936.
