Issues of The Stack were published by a Cooperation with Managers and Associates. Each issue contains poetry, stories, translations, philosophic essays, and hand-lettered advertisements.

Historical note
Begun in the fall of 1939, the Stack published two to three issues per year in the early 1940s. It was an undergraduate literary magazine which welcomed unsolicited material on any topic. The publication was mimeographed to keep costs down, included advertising, and cost ten cents.
