Historical note
The Third Side of the Coin was a humor magazine published at Haverford. The Third Side of the Coin was founded in 1994 by editor Jon Adams, though this is likely a pen name. Many other writers for The Third Side of the Coin also used fake names. Many issues state that the magazine was not concerned with “coherence or facts.” One issue mentions a joint publication with Haverford poetry zine Foetid.
