The Chestnut Hill Monthly Meeting Meetinghouse Campaign was launched in 2010 with the goal of funding the construction of a new Meetinghouse for the community. The new Meetinghouse opened in 2014, and remains an active meetinghouse.

He recieved a bachelor's in perceptual psychology from Pomona College in 1965, before transitioning his studies to the fine arts and recieving a master's in art from Claremont Graduate University. He has produced work in multiple media since the mid 1960's, focusing on the concepts of light and space. He has received numerous awards in the arts including The John D. and Catherine T.
