Helen Satterthwaite sewing scrapbook
Scope and Contents
This scrapbook contains 80 examples of stitching and sewing as well as cut-outs from fashion magazines pasted on the pages. The album is embossed and is bounded with cord. Satterthwait created the album as part of a class she took at Sears with teacher Marie Ahern in 1941.
