Biographical Note
Elizabeth Cadwallader Comfort (1823-1864) was born on February 3, 1823. in Lower Makefield, Pennsylvania. She married Jeremiah Comfort (1816-1887), and the couple had seven children: Ezra Comfort (1847-1933), Sarah Cadwallader (1849-1943), Charles Williams (1851-1911), Harvey S. (1852-1935), Benjamin C. (1856-1873), Isaac Roberts (1860-?), and Alfred Comfort (1864-1865). Elizabeth Cadwallader Comfort died March 24, 1864, in Falls, Pennyslvania.
