Biographical / Historical

John Frederick Rich was born on June 1st, 1902 in London, England. He immigrated to the United States and arrived in New York in 1915. He graduated from Westtown School in 1920. In 1924, Rich graduated from Haverford College with a B.A.. In 1946, he founded the John F. Rich Company in Philadelphia, a consulting service in fundraising and public relations. In 1956, he founded the John F. Rich Company in London, which offered the same services as the company in Philadelphia. Rich passed away on April 24th, 1973 at age 70. Louis Fabian Bachrach was born on July 16th, 1881 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a photographer who owned Bachrach studios, a commercial photography business founded by his father David Bachrach in 1868. His son, Louis Fabian Bachrach Jr. would later inherit the family business. Bachrach passed away in July 1963 at age 82.
