Biographical Note
Henry Russell (1814-1899) was born on July 31, 1814, in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Henry Russell and Content Wing Russell. He married Mary Mitchell in 1842, and the couple had two daughters: Mary Starbuck Russell (1844-1905) and Sarah Howland Russell (1847-1848). Russell died in Sandwich, Massachusetts, on April 6, 1899, at the age of 84.
