Biographical Note
Rebecca Conard (1800-1875) was born January 27, 1800, the daughter of Paul Conard and Sarah Roberts. From 1841 to 1843, she was a teacher of sewing and writing at Westtown School, Pennsylvania. She published a book of poems in 1875. Rebecca Conard died May 1, 1875, in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
