This collection is comprised of the single volume commonplace book of Caroline Cope Yarnall Hartshorne. Biographical Note

Caroline Cope Yarnall Hartshorne (1835-1886) was born in 1835. She married Charles Hartshorne on June 8, 1859, and the couple had three children: Mary Weston (b. 1860), Edward Yarnall (b. 1861), and Francis Cope (b. 1868). She died May 28, 1886.
