Biographical Note
Anna McCollin Potts (1831-1892) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She had three sisters and two brothers. In 1853, Potts married Charles Potts, a teacher at Westtown School. The couple had at least one child, Franklin M. Potts. After her husband retired from Westtown, Potts moved with the family to Media, Pennsylvania, where she lived until her death in 1892.
