This collection is comprised of the single volume signature album of Julia Cope Collins. The album includes signatures, which are occasionally accompanied by a short note, quote, or sketch by the signer. According to the inscription on the front cover, this "Floral Album" was given to Collins by her mother in August of 1879.

Biographical Note
Julia Cope Collins (1866-1958) was born on June 10, 1866, the daughter of Edward Cope and Annie Pim Cope. She married William H. Collins, an astronomy professor at Haverford College, on May 22, 1894. Julia Cope Collins died in 1958.
