It being a short account of some Remarkable Persecution in New England." Bolles's manuscript was originally written in 1758. This volume is a handwritten copy, copied by Charles E. Pratt at an unknown date. The volume details the history of British Quaker martyrs in New England.

Biographical Note
Joseph Bolles (1701-1785) was born March 1, 1701, in New London, Cconnecticut, the daughter of John and Sarah Bolles. He married Martha Bolles on July 18, 1731. Joseph Bolles died in 1785, at the age of 83.
