This collection is comprised of the single volume stenographic report of the Friends World Conference, 1937, at Swathmore, Pa. The volume includes the transcript of meetings, discussions, and speeches given at the conference.

Historical note
The First Friends World Conference was in 1936. At the second Friends World Conference at Swrthmore, Pa., in 1937, the Friends World Committee for Consultaion (FWCC) was created, and took the place of the Friends World Conference. The FWCC works to communicate between the FWCC's world headquarters in London and Quakers around the world, and host Quaker conferences.
In addition to their world headquarters, the FWCC also includes the Africa section, the Asia and West Pacific Section, the Europe and Middle east section, and the Section of the Americas.
