This collection includes one handwritten letter written from Charles Yarnall and addressed to Jonathan Richards. Yarnall describes how the Board of Managers has directed the Committee on Instruction to hire someone to help Richards with keeping accounts and managing the business of the College.

Biographical
Charles Yarnall served on the Haverford Board of Managers from 1830-1868. Jonathan Richards was the superintent of Haverford College from 1853-1857.
