Biographical / Historical
Hugh D. Vail was a lecturer of Mathematics between 1848 and 1852, a director of the observatory between 1857 and 1858, and a manager at Haverford College between 1859 and 1882.
Charles Yarnall was on the Haverford College Board of Managers from 1830 to 1868.
