This small album contains autographs from students at Haverford College and Penn College who were friends with William A. Brown. The entries contain short notes or poems along with the person's signature, the date, and their college affiliation. There are also pencil annotations throughout the next labeling some entires as "original" and adding the fill names of some people who only wrote their initials.

Biographical / Historical
William A. Brown entered Haverford College Introductory Department in 1833 and left after his junior year in 1842. He was born in Philadelphia on December 14, 1824. His parents were Jerimah Brown and Elizabeth Stewardson.
