Henry Sharpless sketchbooks
Scope and Contents
This collection contains two sketchbooks created by Henry Sharpless after his time at Haverford. The sketchbooks include pencil drawings of objects and buildings. There are also still lifes. One of the sketchbooks contains a short note on the inside cover written by "HH.B.J.CJ".

Biographical Note
Henry Hale Graham Sharpless entered Haverford in 1836 and graduated in 1840. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on October 12, 1823, and died in Chester Hills, Philadelphia on April 15, 1870. He was married to Mary Lyman Van Buren.
