Biographical / Historical

The Lake Erie Yearly Meeting opened on August 31, 1963, as an outgrowth of the Great Lakes Regional conference begun in May, 1939 and called Lake Erie Association of Friends Meetings after 1944. The Association began meeting annually on May 10, 1946 and continued meeting concurrently with the Yearly Meeting until August 23, 1969.

The Lake Erie Yearly Meeting opened on August 31, 1963, as an outgrowth of the Great Lakes Regional Conference, begun in May, 1939, and called Lake Erie Association of Friends Meetings after 1944. Records include minutes and other records of Lake Erie Association, Lake Erie Yearly Meeting, and its constituent monthly meetings.
