Albany Preparative Meeting (Hicksite) was established in 1833, reportedly as a part of Coeymans Monthly Meeting (Hicksite). Upon the establishment of Albany Monthly Meeting in 1840, Albany Preparative Meeting (Hicksite) was set off to this meeting.
