Buffalo Preparative Meeting (Hicksite) was established in 1876 as a joint meeting of men and women, part of East Hamburg Monthly Meeting (now known as Orchard Park Monthly Meeting). Buffalo Preparative Meeting was laid down in 1898, members attached to East Hamburg Monthly Meeting.
