Minutes of Butternuts Quarterly Meeting and its predecessors, Butternuts Quarterly Meeting (Orthodox), Duanesburg Quarterly Meeting (Orthodox) and Duanesburg Ouarterly Meeting (pre-Separation), 1812-2024. Includes: minutes of the Meeting of Ministers and Elders 1812-1952; men's minutes & joint, 1828-2024; and women's minutes and joint, 1828-1910. Also includes the minutes of Butternuts Monthly Meeting (Orthodox), 1888-1910, in the volume 1876-1882.

Biographical / Historical

Butternuts Quarterly Meeting was established as Duanesburg Quarterly Meeting in 1812, being set off from Stanford Quarterly Meeting. It was initially composed of the monthly meetings of Duanesburg, Coeymans and Butternuts. Duanesburg Quarterly Meeting (Orthodox) changed its name to Butternuts Quarterly Meeting in 1838. This quarterly meeting remains active.
