Biographical / Historical
Cornwall Monthly Meeting was established in 1788, set off from Creek Monthly Meeting. It remained under Nine Partners Quarterly Meeting until the establishment of Cornwall Quarterly Meeting in 1816. When Cornwall Quarterly Meeting was laid down in 1846 the Monthly Meeting became part of Westbury Quarterly. Cornwall Monthly Meeting (Orthodox) joined Marlborough Monthly in 1906. Cornwall Monthly Meeting (Hicksite), since 1955 known as Cornwall Monthly Meeting, remains active to date.
