Biographical / Historical

Cornwall, formerly New Cornwall Preparative Meeting, was reportedly established in 1777 as a part of Nine Partners Monthly Meeting, having been indulged as a meeting for worship since 1773. It was set off to Creek Monthly Meeting on its establishment in 1782 and became a part of Cornwall Monthly Meeting in 1788. After the Separation in 1828, there were Hicksite and Orthodox branches of this meeting.
