Includes: Women's minutes, 1803-1839, and a typescript copy, made in 1917 from the original, of a register of births & deaths, 1713-1869, and marriages & removals, 1783-1842. The last death entry, of Hannah Hoxie, 7mo 1869, was made by her daughter, Eliza.

Biographical / Historical

East Hoosack Monthly Meeting was established in 1783, set off from Saratoga Monthly Meeting. The Hicksite branch of this meeting was laid down in 1847, members attached to Easton Monthly. The Orthodox branch was laid down in 1845, members attached to Saratoga Monthly.
