Biographical / Historical
Farmington Monthly Meeting was established in 1803, set off from Saratoga Monthly Meeting, under Easton Quarterly. It became a part of Farmington Quarterly Meeting in 1810 when it was established. After the Separation, the Hicksite branch became a part of Genesee Yearly Meeting. It changed to an Executive Meeting in 1887 (meeting quarterly) and was laid down in 1927. The Orthodox branch, which became a united meeting in 1955, remains active to date.
