Biographical / Historical

Monkton Preparative Meeting of Friends was established in ca. 1801 under Ferrisburgh Monthly Meeting. The Orthodox preparative meeting continued under Ferrisburgh and circulated between Monkton Ridge and Charlotte in the late 19th century. The property in Charlotte was sold in 1902.
