Northeastern Regional Meeting Records (including Quaker Street Regional and its predecessors)
Scope and Contents
Records of Northeastern Regional Meeting and some of its predecessors, Quaker Street Half-Yearly (Hicksite) and Regional Meetings, and Duanesburg Half Yearly and Quarterly Meetings (Hicksite and pre-Separation), 1812-ongoing. Records include minutes from men's, women's, and joint quarterly meetings for business as well as Ministers and Elders. Much of the collection consists of the files of the clerk of Quaker Street Half-Yearly Meeting in the 1950s and 1960s, including material related to the constituent meetings at the time. There is a gap in coverage from 1916-1943.
Duanesburg Quarterly Meeting (Orthodox) records, including some pre-Separation records retained by the Orthodox branch, are described in the collection of Butternuts Quarterly Meeting. Pre-1986 records from Northeastern Regional's predecessors in Northern Quarterly and Easton & Saratoga Half-Yearly are described separately as their own collections, with post-1986 records for the combined Northeastern Regional Meeting described here.
