Biographical / Historical
Otego Preparative Meeting was established 1800 under Coeymans Monthly Meeting and transferred to Duanesburgh Monthly Meeting and Butternuts Monthly Meeting on their establishments in 1806 and 1810, respectively. In 1828 it split into Orthodox and Hicksite branches. The Orthodox branch continued until it was laid down in 1854.
