Biographical / Historical
Peru Monthly Meeting was set off from Danby Monthly Meeting by Saratoga (later Easton) Quarterly Meeting in 1799. In 1810 it became part of Ferrisburgh Quarterly Meeting. In 1828 it divided into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. The Hicksite branch was attached to Easton Quarterly Meeting when Ferrisburgh Quarterly Meeting was laid down in 1846, and continued until it was laid down in 1867; its members were attached to Saratoga Monthly Meeting.
