Biographical / Historical
Peru Monthly Meeting was set off from Danby Monthly Meeting by Saratoga Quarterly Meeting in 1799. In 1810 it became part of Ferrisburgh Quarterly Meeting. In 1828 it divided into Orthodox and Hicksite branches. The Orthodox branch continued until it was laid down in 1868 and the members attached to Ferrisburgh Monthly Meeting.
