Biographical / Historical
Purchase Preparative Meeting was established in 1742 by Purchase Monthly Meeting. In 1828 it divided into Orthodox and Hicksite branches. The Orthodox branch appears to have been laid down in 1912 or 1913, when it ceases to appear in the Monthly Meeting notes.
