Biographical / Historical
Skaneateles Preparative Meeting was established in 1821 by Scipio Monthly Meeting. In 1828, it divided into Orthodox and Hicksite branches. The Orthodox branch was laid down in 1830 but re-established in 1832, and it continued until age and illness of its members caused it to be laid down in 1923.
