Biographical / Historical

Smyrna Monthly Meeting was set off from Bridgewater Monthly Meetiing by Duanesburgh Quarterly Meeting (Orthodox) in 1836. It became part of Butternuts Quarterly Meeting in 1838. In the early 1960s, Smyrna Monthly Meeting became inactive. In 1965, the church and parsonage were sold, and in 1969-70 the meeting was laid down.
