According to the minutes of the Women's Meeting, Starksborough Preparative Meeting was established by Ferrisburgh Monthly Meeting (Orthodox) after having been a worship meeting for some time. The last minute is 1855, but in 1896 it is listed in the New York Yearly Meeting directory.
