Biographical / Historical
In 1948 a meeting for worship was held at the home of Jack LeRoy deForest in Stamford, Connecticut. It begame a preparative meeting in 1949. Stamford Monthly Meeting was set off from Purchase Monthly Meeting in 1953. In the late 1990s, membership began to decline; the Meeting was laid down by Purchase Quarterly Meeting in November of 2010.
