Biographical / Historical
Friends of White Creek were granted a Preparative Meeting by Saratoga Monthly Meeting in 1783, though they met as early as 1775. It became a part of Easton Monthly Meeting at its establishment, and then a part of Troy Monthly Meeting when that meeting was set off from Easton in 1813. In 1836 the meeting was transferred back to Easton Monthly Meeting. In 2mo 1856, Easton Monthly Meeting proposed the discontinuance of White Creek Preparative Meeting and midweek meetings. Members were attached to Easton Preparative Meeting.
