Biographical / Historical
Friends of Central America United in Support; F.O.C.U.S.; interfaith group in Central New York State, founded in 1981 with the premise that poverty and violence in Central America can be linked to North American political and economic policies; supported the Sanctuary Movement and was affiliated with the Syracuse Sanctuary Project; raised funds for medical aid; provided speakers to address issues of concern of F.O.C.U.S.; held vigils and performed civil disobedience actions.
