Institute for Security and Cooperation in Outer Space; ISCOS; founded in January 1983; non-profit, non-partisan educational organization and think-tank dedicated to educating decision-makers and the general public about the choices to be made regarding the space frontier, its impact of life on earth and the importance of banning space-based weaponry and establishing a strict international policy of neutrality preventing the weaponization of space; Dr. Carol Rosin was president and founder; headquarters in Washington D.C., with an ISCOS West office in Los Angeles.
