Biographical / Historical
Deborah D. Jacoby; Debby Jacoby; Mrs. Donald Jacoby; graduated from Hunter College in 1944; New Jersey activist for peace, social change, nuclear disarmament, and civil liberties; worked for fair housing in Monmouth County, NJ; member of: Monmouth County Peace Committee, 1970-ca. 1973, New Jersey American Civil Liberties Union, 1973-[1990s?]; founded the Monmouth Ethical Society and the Shore Citizens for Better Human Relations with her husband, Donald Jacoby (d. 2004); worked with Children's Peace Fair, held annually at Brookdale Community College, 1988-1999.
